The style actually reminds me of Princess Mononoke by Miazake

  13. E.A. says:

It's a bit of an Edward Gorey ripoff.

  14. d00g says:

I would say more an homage to Edward Gorey than a ripoff. Good work, if not an original style.

  15. J.a says:

would you like to make a short with your draws?.

  16. Matt says:

Great, *another* hipster-masturbating ripoff of Where the Wild Things Are. That's *exactly* what we need.

  17. Candy says:

Looks a lot like Where the Wild Things Are.

  18. Jennifer says:

Definitely an Ed Gorey/Where the Wild Things Are influence. I read a comment about it not being original. Fact is,NOTHING is. There is always an outside inspiration in art.

  19. Sopie says:

the second from the bottom is my computer background. i love it!

  20. Great characters! Whether or not anyone believes the art style is original or not, each character has it's own unique personality, so bravo for the developing drawings. Hope to see more!

  21. eto3 says:

these drawings look a lot similar to the characters called “HOLLOW” from the anime bleach!!!!

  22. VectorMan says:

  35. christina says:

beautiful and interesting… too bad it's unoriginal. this is the unsettling version of where the wild things are, but that's just my two cents.

  36. me says:

    your stupid

  37. PJ says:

I agree with the first person. These are wonderful but they remind me of Maurice Sendak. This is not meant to be a slight, it is merely an observation.

  38. elle says:

What is there to get.. it's art.

  39. Yvette Spooncer says:

  40. Grammar Police says:

    no, you're stupid.

  41. Chris says:

come on, guys . . . let's keep this civil

  42. Nicole says:

gorgeous <3 It DOES REMIND me of Maurice Sendak also, as well as Shell Silverstein.

  43. wendy says:

Take another look at Ed Gorey, Maurice Sendak and Shell Silverstein via google. These are very unique and beautiful. The artist has clearly come up with his own ideas about kids and monsters and ink drawings.

  44. Lcrockett says:

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your drawings. It's like the monsters are hiding, lurking, always there, but no one knows it. The joke is on the so called normal people just minding their own business going about whatever it is that they do, totally unsuspecting they could become a victim any moment. The possibility of what the monsters might do next gives the pictures energy and action. And we are in on the joke. Tee hee hee.

  45. dOmaNia says:
