Born: Winter Park, Florida
Lives: Brooklyn, New York
Seamus Liam O’Brien spent the formative years of his life performing with his immediate family on various circuses throughout the United States. He would later go on to perform as a costumed character at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Resort.
In addition to exhibiting work in numerous galleries throughout the United States, Mr. O’Brien has worked as a scenic artist and has been involved in the production of numerous themed environments and backdrops for museum interiors, theme parks, retail stores, and stage shows. Mr. O’Brien received his Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Drawing from The University of Florida, and his Master of Fine Art degree in Printmaking from The Ohio State University. He is currently the studio manager for the artist Takashi Murakami at Kaikai Kiki Studios, NY. (bio)
