Rae Mahaffey
Artist Bio
Portland painter Rae Mahaffey is known for compositions rich in layers of pattern and color. Her paintings are uniquely abstract and architectural. In addition to her paintings Rae makes prints and works with fused glass.
She has completed public art commissions for the Oregon Convention Center, the Tigard Public Library in Oregon, a fire station outside Denver and a large mural for the Columbia Basin College, in Pasco, Washington.. She is currently working on glass installations for the El Paso International Airport in Texas, and Gray Middle School in Tacoma, Washington.
