Artist Statement:
Art Director by day, photographer by play.
For over 15 years, I’ve been an Art Director to pay the bills and fulfill my obligations. More recently, I’ve been a photographer to pay my creative spirit and fulfill my soul. My goal when creating images is not only to make a photograph that documents a scene, but to add to it and capture it’s emotion. It’s essence. It’s spirit.
Formally educated in art and design, I hold a BFA in graphic design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I’ve spent my career in various advertising and marketing environments applying relevant design and branding skill to a wide range of companies. Photography has been an escape for me. An outlet to capture the world around me and share a vision and desire to create.
