When Grizzly Bear are at their best, they’re able to exude enveloping warmth and icy seclusion all within the same song, bordering on sterile because of the precision in instrumentation and vocal harmonization, but at the same time feeling washed out and sun-faded, well-worn and well-loved. Such is the case with “Yet Again”, a track from the band’s upcoming Shields, a song marked by sharp harmonies and intricate guitar-work, gently worn down by Ed Droste’s gentle coo and plenty of reverb.
