Collage, water color and often delicate and faint pencil lines characterize the work of Russian born, Rotterdam based Masha Krasnova-Shabaeva. While her charming illustrations have something of a poetic, romantic quality, it is her strong and quirky imagination and her powerfully intriguing subject matter that make her work unique and distinctive.
