Anne-D Mejaki

Gallery work and commissioned artwork, in nature as well as portraits, are the subjects of  Anne-Denise's creative expressions “Tea Party Girls and Ladies©”,” LOVERS©”, “With Child ©”, "White Man Listening© " “Pine Trees”, “New Horizons” and “Magic Eye”, are a few of her recognized series. The visual movement in Anne-Denise’s artwork seems to captivate people to feel and meditate, loosing themselves to allow the discovery of hidden treasures found on the canvas and within themselves. Clients are also invited in studio work sessions to participate and become a co-creator and contributor to their art piece. Anne-Denise’s discoveries of her unique style and intuitive ability have taken her to some of her greatest heights and enlightenment through her art. 

Career Highlights 

• Founded Art About You Productions in 2006. Artist from childhood.• Studied 10 years oil painting with Caroline MacArthur 1971-1981 • Advanced studies in watercolour and etching. • Works have sold to patrons throughout the Province of Ontario and beyond, within Canada and in the United States, as well as exhibited in various locations throughout Northern Ontario. •Awards include NOAA juried competition 2009, Visual Poetry Festival 2009, Temiskaming Art Gallery “Most Creative”2008 and Contemporary Art Juried Competition 3rd place with Northern Heritage Museum Jan 2010. Various Peoples' Choice awards: Temiskaming Art Gallery, Festival Franco Fun Exhibit. Successfully completed the ARTIST-EDUCATOR Foundation Program with the Conservatory of the Arts sponsored by the Ontario Arts Council. Proud partner of the "Spirits Of The Heart" artist trio with Julie Brown and Iris Shields.
