Escape Into Life, online arts journal, pushes the boundaries of visual art and
literature, blending the two together until they become one poem – a work of Visual Poetry.
M.A.Tateishi is a painter who explores ideas of time and memory. Her process involves multiple layers of painting on paper, which are torn back to reveal what is underneath, and then sealed with resin. Her work has been exhibited over the past 10 years in over 70 shows throughout Canada. Her paintings are in private homes, corporate and museum collections and she has been featured in local newspapers, magazines, television programs and on CBC radio.
