“Library”, a series by LA based artist Brandon Lattu, makes me want to flatten every single bookcase that I’ve ever owned. You too?

Amidst old houses dead from the fallout of urban sprawl, railway bridges asleep from neglect, and trees that engulf everything, his work attempts to remind you of something you may have said to someone, or something someone may have said to you….

I try in my prints to testify that we live in a beautiful and orderly world, not in a chaos without norms, even though that is how it sometimes appears. M C Escher

There are recurring images in your paintings, art prints, drawings, and posters. We see telephone poles and wires, silhouettes of forests at night, skeletons beneath flower bushes, dotted winter landscapes, bare trees against solid color backgrounds, and houses with the lights left on in the dead of night.
