Escape Into Life

Despite all the suburban houses in my paintings, I was actually raised by artists deep in the woods of NH.

Throughout my long-term photographic practice I wish to engage the photograph’s transformative qualities, changing what is typically overlooked into something splendid in its resilience.

I am interested in the way objects become something new when drawn, in the warping that happens when three-dimensional objects are recreated in two dimensions.
