These hasty, heavily-rendered illustrations from Kiev-based Artem Krepkiy look dark, especially the wild drawings that build up their darkness through a repetitive and emotionally figurative sort of mark-making. Colour does make an appearance, and the drawings are no less visceral for it, but it’s the slow-capture effect that his sketches have, the incredible movement and expression of the characters – that’s what got me – Bryony Quinn
