Randy Mora (b.1986) is a self-taught artist and illustrator currently working in Bogotá, Colombia. He makes elegant cut and paste collage mixing classical and vintage images with floral, mechanical and anatomical elements. He then scans the work and uses Photoshop to create pieces which are both beautiful and surprsing, unsettling.

The origins of anatomical illustration–roughly parallel to the invention of the printing press in the 15th century–couldn’t be farther from the medical illustrations in the anatomy textbooks we know today.
