Escape into Life

Escape into Life founder, Chris Al-Aswad (1979 - 2010), created Escape into Life as a nexus of information, ideas, and promotion – demonstrated through high-end illustration, painting, fine art photography, and literature. Chris, a writer, artist and life-long lover of art and creative self-expression, was in the process of creating an Escape into Life store that would further support the artists whose works he believed in and thought deserved greater recognition. His untimely death on July 27th, 2010 was not to mark the end of his dream. Carrying on his work, his younger sister Mandy took over the company with the help of his extremely dedicated contributors. On July 30th, 2011, the Escape into Life Arts Store opened successfully and will continue to evolve significantly over the next few months.
