UPDATE:
We’ve decided to go with an actual store model for Escape into Life. This means that artists will be able to sell their works through the site. The artist will be in possession of the work at all times. After the artwork has been sent to a buyer, we will transfer the funds to the artist.
Right now we expect a 15-20% commission for sold works. If you would would like to sell your work through the Escape into Life store, please send an email to escapeintolife (AT) yahoo (DOT) com.
The Escape into Life Store will display original artwork and reproductions. This includes illustration art, comic art, fine art, photography, drawings, prints, jewelry, and more. In addition, we will display Moleskine art journals.
The estimated time for the store to be up and running is May or June of 2010.
Escape into Life aims to provide traffic, publicity, and attention to artworks being sold.
