Artist Bio

A young 21 year old photographer, Rae Marshall has always turned to photography as a way of letting out the world in her head. She is heavily influenced by music, and many of her pieces are inspired by lyrics or themes of songs. Rae is especially interested in people’s emotions and the way we relate to each other.

About The Artist

Rae Marshall has always known she’d be an artist, and photography is an outlet for her to capture the world’s beauty and her own personal visions.

She started photography in high school, sparking the interest of many in her community and started taking appointments. She has since gone on to study digital media and photography at the University of Alabama.

Rae has worked at Lifetouch studios specializing in families and children, worked with many other professional photographers as a model/photographer and mentor, and interned with Texas based internationally awarded wedding photographers David and Luke Edmonson. She has been featured in the New College Art Gallery and and experience in portraits, headshots, weddings, engagements, editorials, events and more.

Her work has most recently been published in Best of College Photography 2011 for the award winning Photography Forum Magazine.
