About the Artist

Barcelona artist Mario Soria mixes it up. Art world classics, modern celebs, Mickey Mouse ears … it should be confusing, but this Spanish hyperrealist makes it look like it all makes sense. There are bees and boats for Andy Warhol (with Lego protruding from the sides of the canvas); strollers gently tumble down via umbrella onto Frida Kahlo; and beverage cans peek out from behind Albert Einstein.
