Artist Bio

Born 1973 in Saga, Japan, Manabu Iked he now lives and works in Tokyo. He earned a BA in design in 1998 from the  Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, completing his MA at the same school in 200o.

Besides several group and solo  exhibitions in Japan, he has shown his work in Korea; in Canada (Hamilton and Victoria); in  Berlin,  Karlsruhe and Dresden in Germany; and in Torino, Italy.  His work will be shown in the US for the first time in the Japan Society’s upcoming show “Bye Bye Kitty!!! Between Heaven and Hell in Contemporary Japanese Art
