About The Artist

Henrik Aarrestad Uldalen is a self-taught artist whose creative production revolves around classic figurative painting. The atmosphere in his subject matter is often presented in a dream-like state. Henrik is continuously working to improve his technique. His source of inspiration is the academic artists of the late 19th century. Despite his realistic approach, photographic accuracy is not what he seeks to achieve.

Am hoping there will be large signed prints of “Drifting” available soon!

While I am a fan of all of this artist’s paintings, I am dying for a print of “Drifting”, the girl floating in the forest. All of his painting are amazing but I find the larger recognizable figures too personal to purchase for my own tastes. There are a few prints that I would like to collect….beginning with my favorite “Drifting” image.
