About the Artist

After having completed a BA in illustration at Norwich School of Art and Design in 2008, I spent a year working on my drawing before applying to the Royal College of Art in London. I graduated from there in the summer of 2011 with an MA in Communication Art and Design. I live in London and currently working on a series of drawings exploring a growing and ripening environment centred round the rituality of food and consumption. These images are created from collaged fragments of drawings that contain multi layered narratives inspired by environmental (‘flora’) apocalyptic science fiction, medieval comics, modernist architecture and Hieronymus Bosch’s visions of the after life.
